"We hired Chris as our photographer for our wedding and decided to go with his black label collection services.
During our engagement shoot he immediately made us feel comfortable (which was incredibly important for my husband) and it was clear he was a true professional with ton a of experience, charisma and passion.
He was along side us the entire day, offering insights and suggestions, ensuring we were posed well, not missing a single moment, and even uploading a sneak peak within 24hrs, which is just so special to see so quickly.
Chris went out of his way to provide us with a very special experience and worked with me on many ideas for multiple videos and pictures and the execution was nothing short of phenomenal.
Even when my bridesmaids and I applied pressure in a dark setting to do a group video idea we originally planned to do in the day time, he said “I’m not sure this will work, but I’ll try” and guess who nailed it, of course.
The black label collection provided us with a second photographer along side Chris (Corrine) and I cannot express how grateful we we’re that we made that decision; we truly felt he had full coverage and that we were able to capture every moment. Corrine was also fantastic, you can count on Chris to bring along some of the best talent in the industry is a given.
Beyond this is his ability to connect with people, he truly felt like part of our family and we enjoyed his company and especially all the laughs during wedding party photos.
I can’t wait to see the final products, I have full faith they will be absolutely beautiful and without question the best decision we ever made in regards to our wedding.

Chris has photographed myself and my family about 6 times now and he is the only photographer id get from now on. Every single time he does not disappoint. He makes you feel very comfortable and at ease. He just finished shooting my daughters grad casual and they turned out stunning. He spent about two and a half hours shooting my daughter and her boyfriend took well over 500 photos. he just went above and beyond to make sure they looked their best even though we got rained on he never complained and embraced the weather and just kept shooting as if the rain wasn't even there. But fortunately he provided a second option from his other company. He helps train these photographers and Chris will edit the photos. We were lucky to get Anton and he was amazing, patient and very professional. He was with us all day from getting ready at 11 am to almost the end of the party! They provided almost 3000 photos of our special day so we have so many great photos to choose from. We received our photos in 3 and a half weeks (less than what our contract said) and the price was also great!

Chris Jensen is hands down the best photographers we had the pleasure of working with. My wife and I used his services to shoot our engagement and wedding photos, we are very pleased with the end results.
Chris was very down to earth and easy to talk to when coming up with ideas for different shots. He wasn't a cookie cutter type of photographer, where he would also make us stand a certain way, smile a specific way. He wasn't afraid to communicate with us on what we wanted or how we felt a photo should go. He allowed us to just do our thing to try and find those amazing genuine shots.
My favorite shot from our wedding was a champagne shower photo at the end of the night. The lighting he used created a magical moment of bliss with sparkling droplets that fall from the night sky upon us.
For anyone that is looking for a photographer for any type of event, I highly recommend Chris Jensen.

-he sends you ALL his photos so you can decide which ones you love the most (most photographers decide for you and take out the photos where you're 'laughing too hard' or goofy or don't look perfectly posed)
-he's super easy to get along with and makes the experience enjoyable. We knew we'd be pretty awkward people in-front of a camera, but his stories and personality made it feel easy
-he has ideas but he doesn't push 'staged' photos onto you and welcomes your ideas
-he doesn't worry about a time-limit; he's chill and down to hang out if you are!
-he was super quick in getting photos back to us - in less than 2 weeks we had our engagement photos back

He did our engagement shoot with us and we ended up going quite a bit over our time limit and he said that was totally fine. He was awesome. When we got our engagement photos back I was blown away. He does such great work and makes you feel so comfortable.
Leading up to the wedding he kept in contact with us and made sure we were totally prepared. The day of the wedding He showed up early morning to start photographing the guys then headed to a different location to get me and my girls. Then tricked over to the venue to get set up for a full day. He stayed right until the end of the night and captured some pretty epic memories.

I wish I could give him 6 stars. I first met Chris at a friend's wedding. Stayed in contact on Facebook. My fiance and I went to the wedding show and he picked me out of a crowd. Remembered my name from 1 wedding 5 years prior. Amazing. Then we met with him before the big day 2 or 3 times. Can't remember because we also visited a couple times after. More than a photographer, became our friend. Got us 2200 excellent shots. Even made some sweet one of a kind star wars theme shots because the wedding was may 4th. Then...my wife and I went to print a photo at Wal-Mart from the USB he gave us and the kiosk deleted our usb drive. All 2000 photos. We were crushed. Messaged Chris and he not only responded the same evening (messaged him at 1030 pm) but he also asked which photo I was trying to print. He sent it to me that night so I could have it right away. Also he made us a whole second usb with all our photos. That night. Amazing. Love this dude. Worth every penny. Also, you get a sweet pen from him lol. My wife and I both really liked the pen so he gave us 2. Haha thanks Chris! Very niceeeeeeeee.

Chris was beyond exceptional, and I don't say that lightly. My fiancee and I are from Alberta but got married in Manitoba, hence why we had Chris out of Winnipeg. I had hoped to get engagement pictures done in the mountains but had given up on it as most photographers had it included in their packages but with travel to MB from AB for the wedding, it was just too expensive. I shared that with Chris when we got in contact with him, and he drove all the way to Alberta to make it happen for us!! It was incredible. Our wedding day he showed up at 6:00am and stayed until 1:00am, again free of any additional charges. He was incredibly flexible and fit right in with the rest of us, and able to put us totally at ease for the pictures, laughing and joking around the entire time. I would choose him again in a heartbeat if I had to do it all over again. You won't be dosappointed!"

We got all of our pictures back within a month, all edited and on a disc for us to print as we wanted - with no watermarks!
He took our wedding pictures in June of 2018. He stayed with us the entire day! (10 am- 1am the next day). We got our sneak peek pictures within a couple days of our wedding and so far we are very impressed!

I have to say, as soon as we met Chris we liked him. I knew he was going to be there for us. He is so friendly, listens to you and is super funny! Every photo we asked to have was spot on. He even did a comic book cover for our son who was co best man. He loves Hulk and Iron Man and Chris did an amazing job on the photos. It was SO hot that day and yet Chris was NON STOP. We ended up with around 2000 photos of our day and we couldn't be happier. He brought a photo booth which everyone participated in and we ended up with some pretty funny stuff. Right from our first meeting, Chris was fun and very enthusiastic! He put us at ease, and made us very excited to work with him on our big day. Chris was very flexible when we decided to change the location of our engagement phots the morning of. If you are worried about posing or don’t know what will look good in shots, don’t sweat it! Chris knows all the good angles and will make sure you are perfectly posed for incredible shots! After we received our engagement phots, we were so in love with our pictures that we decided to upgrade our wedding album to one of his Italian leather bound albums. Chris added this to are package at his cost, just a fraction of what other photographers were charging for the same album! Chris was very easy going on the day of the wedding, which helped a lot with the stress of the wedding day. He was fun and very open to any ideas we had. Chris stayed right to the end. He made sure he asked us if there we any shots that he may have missed that we wanted to capture before the night ended. Chris provided us with sneak preview photos of our wedding the very next day, right before we left for our honeymoon. It is just over a month ago, on June 25th that we got married and had the pleasure of working with Chris. It has been a great experience all around and we have nothing but good things to say!
Prior to getting in contact with Chris Jensen Studios, we have met with other photographers, who at the first glance had nice pictures, but something just didn’t click. Either they were too quiet, or we didn’t get that creative vibe where photographer actually sees things in an artistic way, or the actual photos were just not what we were looking for. All that was immediately erased once we met Chris.
- His excitement and personal approach to each couple is so refreshing
- He took the time to go over everything and actually LISTENED to what we wanted! He didn’t go with just traditional style photos, he asked questions and actually learnt about us as people. He remembered little details of what we like and dislike and has been so flexible and attentive throughout the whole process.
- We did an engagement photo shoot with him and it has made a night and day difference for our wedding day photos! We learnt more on how to pose, how he works with people and also what works and doesn’t work for us when it comes to posing. Everyone who thinks that engagement photo shoot is not necessary – I am very confident that you will not regret doing it, once your wedding day comes!
- He dedicated his entire day to us, staying much later than we expected. He travelled to take “getting ready” photos to two locations in complete opposite ends of town, which also meant a lot to us.
- Our parents, wedding party and friends all had fun with the photo shoot.
Chris is a genuinely nice person who is there to make your day about the two of you. He knows when to take charge and when to just catch those moments where you are relaxed and not looking, or when you are doing your own thing. We definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for a photographer for their special day!

We had researched close to every photographer in Winnipeg before choosing Chris to shoot our Engagement session and Wedding Day, and we clearly picked the right person. Chris came all the way out to Gimli for our Engagement session and Wedding Day, charging us the same as if it were to be done in Winnipeg. He was excellent to work with, allowing us to share our ideas of what pictures we wanted, and what locations we wanted to use. Chris took us all over Gimli to do our Engagement session, and we were very impressed with the photos we received. We were given a DVD slideshow, a CD with all of the pictures taken, as well as some prints. Not to mention we received our pictures so fast! For our wedding, Chris again came out to Gimli and spent the day and night (the entire night) with us capturing every single important moment of our special day. Our guests came up to us numerous times through the night commenting on how involved our photographer was, and how friendly he was as well. We went to the Zoo and Leo Mol Gardens for engagement pictures. Chris was very laid back and encouraging, which was great. He let us do our own thing, however serious or goofy we wanted to be. Chris was very prepared for the photo shoot - he even brought some food for us to feed to the wildlife, which ended up giving us some great pictures feeding peacocks and Canada Geese!
The photos he provided us were very well done. We had the option to provide feedback on the photos, such as getting a black and white version of our favorite photo, cropping pictures, and bringing out colors we really liked
It was great to have the customizing options and Chris was very professional and timely with any suggestions we had.
Overall, the engagement photo shoot with Chris was an amazing experience. We received beautiful pictures and have zero regrets with the entire experience. It was a lot of fun taking pictures with Chris and we are very excited with how many perfect pictures we received from the photo shoot. He really captured who we are as a couple. We can't wait for him to photograph our wedding!
